How to Help
He said to them, "The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest." He said to them, "The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest." (Luke 10:2)
With only about 175 stations, Catholic Radio in the U.S. is still a grassroots operation in many ways. Many don't even expect to find Catholic broadcasting anywhere on the dial, while Protestant radio can be heard almost everywhere. We need your help to get the word out that it is a new day in religious radio broadcasting. Parish Liaisons are those individuals who volunteer with WNGL Archangel Radio to personally pass along information from WNGL to their local parishes, and from their local parishes back to WNGL.
This can be done in a variety of ways.
From WNGL to your local parish
From time to time, WNGL Archangel Radio produces printed material for distribution throughout the Archdiocese. Posters, brochures, sample programming. Our Parish Liaisons stop by the station (or meet at a satellite location) and take these materials to their respective local parishes and place them where each church displays such material. When supplies are running low, they let us know and we arrange to get more out to that parish.
From your local parish to WNGL
WNGL hosts an online events calendar and periodically broadcasts highlights from the calendar over the air, as well as announcements about what is going on around the Archdiocese. When you parish has an important event to publicize, you can insure that we know so that we might include it in our data base here at the studio.
