Q. How is Archangel Radio different from other Christian stations?
A. Catholic radio offers programming from a Catholic perspective that isn't available on the other stations.

Q. Will Archangel Radio target only Catholic listeners?
A. Catholic radio offers a variety of programs targeted to Catholics and non-Catholics. The core programming by its nature is Catholic and will attract a Catholic audience. However, research shows that many of the programs attract a general audience and become an evangelizing tool.

Q. Is Archangel Radio on the air around the clock or part-time?
A. Archangel Radio is on air twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

Q. How is Archangel Radio funded?
A. Archangel Radio is listener-supported with several programs funded through underwriting sponsors.

Q. I would like to do what I can to assist Archangel Radio in the achievement of its goals. What can I do to help?
A. First, please pray for listenership. The more people who are listening to WNGL 1410 AM, the more people are hearing the Saving Gospel of Christ in its purest form. Also, please consider supporting us financially. You can go to our “support” page, or call us at 251-928-2111. We are in need of volunteer assistance as well. Please visit the support pages for volunteer opportunities and more information on how you can get involved.

Q. Does the Catholic Church govern the programming content?
A. No. The operators of the station ensure that all programming is in line with the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Q. Initial programming will come mostly from EWTN, the Catholic broadcasting network based in Alabama. How does that relate to the local market?
A. Local programming will be maintained as funds are available. The Catholic Church is worldwide and our teachings are universally the same, and the message will always be consistently Catholic.

Q. Can you give us a brief overview of the type of programming content we can expect on Archangel Radio?
A. The range of programming spans all ages. This station is mostly a talk station although there is programming that includes music. Please see our programming schedule.

Q. Do you broadcast news programs?
A. Yes. A popular live call-in show, "The World Over" includes news from the Vatican and national Catholic news for the week, every Friday evening. There are also news updates throughout the day each day of the week.

Q. Do you accept underwriting on this station?
A. Underwriting pays for a portion of the operating cost of the station. We will rely on businesses, organizations and individuals in the Catholic community to help fund and underwrite the messaging of the station.
